Who am I?
I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I am a professional tuba player, a Soldier in the U.S. Army, a freelance graphic designer, the manager of the Funky Pirates Music Collective, composer, arranger, and a hockey player, as well as being a father and husband. I really enjoy my life! One thing that makes my life enjoyable is when people see the work I've done and give me money to do some for them! This website is a place for me to showcase my talents, so you the viewer will want to give me money. Hey, at least I'm not BS'ing you!
I was born and raised in Western Michigan and went to high school in Climax, MI, where I met and fell in love with my beautiful wife Misty. We've been married since 2007, and have 2 beautiful children, Alexander and Evelyn. I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where I majored in Music Performance. In 2006, I signed my life away to the Army. Since then, I have served all over the world. My assignments have included the 77th Army Band (Fort Sill, Oklahoma), 76th Army Band (Mannheim, Germany), 1st Armored Division Band (Wiesbaden, Germany), 399th Army Band (Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri), and the Army Materiel Command Band (Huntsville, Alabama). In 2010, I started the Funky Pirates Jazz Band with some of my friends from work, and it has blossomed into 5 seperate groups, all part of the Funky Pirates Music Collective. Also, in 2010, I started JCR Graphix. Since then, I have specialized in concert posters, but I also do logo and web design.
